Time passed so quickly. I finally understood that the magic glass was unreal, the story was unreal.

There is only one truth that her love for me is more valuable than any magic glass on the world. Whenever I recall this story, I feel very warm in my heart. I am so lucky to have a great Mom. Don’t you think so?

When I was a child, my Mom used to tell me many stories. One night in our small house, I, a 5-year-old, little girl, insisted her to tell me a story which I’ve kept in mind as a soup for my soul.

A MAGIC GLASS - SPECIAL SOUP FOR LANHOA'S SOUL
Mom: When you were just a small baby, our house was only one in the vast field. After you and your sister had fallen into your deep sleep, I came to the tomato field and dug the land. Under moonlight, there was only me with a shovel. Suddenly, my shovel touched a beautiful glass. Wow, It might be a good toy for my daughter. I picked it up. Suddenly, a witch appeared.
“This is a magic glass. Whoever gets it, it will turn one’s wishes come true. Now that you got it, you’ll have that magic wish. However, I have a request in return.” He said.
“What is it, Sir?” I asked with surprise.
“I like your small baby. I will take her with me. Instead, you will have anything you want in the world. You will be rich and happy forever.”
“No, no. She is the most important thing in the world to me.” I shouted.
“Oh, stupid woman! Are you sure?” He laughed.
“Of course, nothing can change my mind.” I answered him.
I immediately rushed into the house and held you tight in my arms. “I was afraid that he would take you away.” , she whispered.
Daughter: “Why didn’t you exchange me with the magic glass? If you had done that, you would have been very rich and our family would have had many great things, a television or a doll for my sister, for example. I should have gone with him” I stopped her and asked.
Mom: “No, my little angle, I have never regretted about that. Nothing is more important than you.” She gently kissed me on my cheek and said.
“Well, do you know what he said then?” She continued.
He came into our house and said to me. “You are a good mother. Because you love your baby, I will not take her away. When she grows up, she will be a kind and hardworking lady. Please tell her to come and see me and take this magic glass back to you.” Then he disappeared.
“My daughter, you are a kind and hard working girl.” She said to me.
Daughter: “Thanks, Mom. I must go and see him to take that glass to you. You are deserved to be happy”
At that moment, I truly believed in her story. I thought how silly she was, and blamed her so much for her action; as she did not exchange me for the glass. Several times I dreamed of taking the glass back to Mum and finally, our family would have everything we wanted.

Ước mơ - đơn giản là những điều tốt đẹp chúng ta mong muốn đạt được từ trái tim.

Vậy tại sao không viết nên những ước mơ giản dị mà tuyệt vời ấy? Tại sao ta phải đợi chờ khi ta hoàn toàn có thể làm ngay trước khi quên lãng.
Hôm nay gặp lại người thầy gần gụi và đáng kính, những câu chuyện thực của giá trị cuộc sống lại ùa về. Thật buồn vì nhiều người chúng ta cách xa cha mẹ chỉ tấc gang nhưng đã thờ ơ với mong ước của người thân yêu nhất.
Bạn ơi, hãy để những ước mơ được quyền lên tiếng. Hãy lắng nghe và chăm sóc ước mơ của người thân yêu quanh ta. Đó cũng chính là tình yêu ta dành cho bản thân, cha mẹ, cho gia đình mình.
